1. In some cases yes, But, lets look at the current state of things as far as gaming comps go. Dota has been out for what 6 years? Cod 4 has been out for about the same. Being out-dated will not be a problem. There is a reason for the games being chosen, they work and the gamers enjoy them. COD4 is by far the best COD for a comp. SC2 will be what a year old? HON, is just starting to become comp worthy, BFBC2, this is a bit iffy I admit, but we could swap this for the new Medal of Honor.
As far as the "online" gaming goes, this will be for comps only. If you want to sit at a lan and play online the whole time you are wasting your money

2. There will be a number of defining factors, the main one obviously being giving people the oppurtunity to be part of a Guiness world record. I have already mailed them and they are happy to attend and give us a spot in their book I can't go to much into the other "factors" as I dont want to show my hand to soon. Competetion being what it is and all.

3. You have to understand, I do not want to take anything away from Rage, they have done a great deal for gamers in SA. All I want to do is help enrich gaming, more so competitive gaming in SA. I will be hosting some very big comps, I might even organise sponsorships for winning teams, etc. I am just trying to do my part for what could be an amazing gaming scene. So to answer your question, Rage sells out in 1 day, there are hundreds and thousands of gamers that miss out, I want to give as many people a chance to participate in such an event.

4. As far as sponsors go, I cannot divulge my sponsors just yet, but what I can tell you is there are a lot of the same names, but a couple very interesting and new ones

5. Haha profit, I wish there would be enough to make this about money, I have been lanning for easily 8 or 9 years. I just want to do my bit

6. I have already secured Computicket for sales.
