Depends on the game and what dlc we are talking. I have all the dragon age dlc and have all the story dlc from mass effect 2 and 1. But hardly any other dlc.

This DLC trend is starting to really piss me off. In the good old days consoles had DLCs and PC games had expansions (i.e. an extra SP campaign or something). Lately the devs are keen to port any & all console nastiness to PC.
Take sup com 2. I paid 7,5 USD for the game (Awesome special). Now they want 10 USD for the DLC...and theres fckall in it: 8 MP maps and a dozen units. Not even a measly mini-campaign.
I have only ever bought DLC for Fallout 3, which was cool but over all I dont think its worth the extra cost, especially if they are just going to bundle it all and call it GOTY.
I'm a recent addition to the gaming world (9 months since i got my XB360).
None of the DLC for the games i've bought so far has looked appealing to me. I just figure if it was good enough it would've been in the game. And it can't be that important to the experience if they leave it out and then make a sequel.
The Shadow Broker DLC had me contemplating for a while, but then I wasn't very impressed with ME2 so i decided against it.
So no... no DLC.
And, incidentally, i don't even have an XBL account since they want me to play for playing MP. But that's another rant altogether.
If I enjoy the game then I will get all the DLC for that game, eg:
UC2- Got all the extra map packs for this game and they rock!
All the Total War games- My most fav installment on the PC and I have gotten all the expansion packs and units.
AC2- Some of the best DLC I ever bought.
And many more...
