Get the Fallout 3 mod manager. You install your mods via that.

THe nexus is awesome, I used to get all my Oblivion mods at the TES(the elder scrolls) nexus.

All the top modders post their stuff there, up to 200 Mods added daily!

What's awesome about the Gamebryo engine is the shared recourses thing. Entire CITY addons, with like 10-15 buildings are like 200KB, not kidding!!!!!

there are bigger mods, like the weather mods and texture are over 100MB

Very safe, and a very good forum for getting your stuff to work if you struggle!

yeah dude do it trust me. Some of the gameplay mods are also awesome, I am waiting for one like the brilliant OOO mod for oblivion, before I touch Fallout 3 again.

To those not in the know, the OOO mod for oblivion was over 1.5 GIGS extracted.
The first edition of this mod took over a year to make!

Was basically an entire game in itself, added to the oblivion world. So many quests, Items, Locations and stuff added its unbelievable

They are working on such a thing for F3!

How much do these mods affect the performance of the game?
