    The ASUS G73J ROG Laptop is more or less on par with the M17X, 12K Price difference
    Will do test once Alienware Lands between the two

    Exactly. And the ASUS is even better in certain respects. When I think Alienware I think Nike - you pay for the name.

    Sure, this may not be as flashy but I'd get this in a heartbeat over the Alienware
