Thread: GT5 or Fallout New Vegas?

Default GT5 or Fallout New Vegas?

    Hi Guys,

So these two games are released relatively close together and I can only get one of them but I don't know which one! I have never played a Fallout game but I like the story line of New Vegas and I have never playeda GT games except for the first one back on the PS1.

So I am stuck, which one would be better in terms of longevity and replayability?

    Which would you chose?

    Thanks

Personally racing games bore me, so it is a no brainer for me.

I dunno its really hard to choose, i reckon GT5 is gonna be insanely hard to get all ur challenges to gold when u doing ur licenses and stuff. But I'll just be getting both anyways

I would like to get both but I'm getting Assassin's Creed Brotherhood codex edition and CoD Black Ops hardened edition so I only have enough for either GT5 or Fallout New Vegas.

So I would like one or the other to take me till the end of December so I can get the other but I would still like to have fun with either one. I have played car games like NFS and Burnout but never quite one like GT except for NFS Pro Street but I didn't like that one at all. Is GT like Pro Street or is it a bit more exciting?

If I like games like CoD, Crysis, MoH... Would I like Fallout?

    THanks

GT has always been pure Simulation game. Although u can set it up to ur preference as to how much u want to game to help u out i.e Auto Gearbox,ABS,TC etc etc

I can honestly tell that im a motorhead and play any racing game that comes my way.
I presume GT5 will follow the same formula as GT4, as in u have to earn ur license to drive certain cars in the game.
Now all cars in the game are catogorised into C,B,A,S.
So u basically have to "earn" the right to drive the cars in the game.
Licenses are broken in 3 ways: Bronze,Silver and Gold. With the appropriate reward going with what u have earned.
It took me a very long time to get all my gold licenses and complete the entire game.
And in GT4 the 24hrs u could actually drive to it's full extent which was 24hrs long irl.... lol

If u are expecting NFS Shift,Pro Street from GT5 afaik its the wrong game. U'd rather be better off with Split/Second :-)

I don't expect GT to be like NFS I was just saying that I come from the NFS, Burnout side of racing.

I'm also looking for a game that I can plat. I don't want one where most are impossible to get (Like 3/4 of the trophies are online). Because even though I have Telkom's 4mb line I can't play certain games online (Like Fifa).

    Is Fallout on SP?
