Yet the company with the most Corporate BS (Acti-Blizz) in the industry is literally swimming in sales.

Piracy hurts sales yes, but I can't help but feel that publishers are doing it to themselves. With all their policies etc, it is giving non buying customers even more reason to not pay for an original, justified or not. By increasing the prices of games to exorbitant prices, charging people for every little DLC conceived, taking away dedicated server support, no longer providing mod tools, making online play for COD: BO impossible in South Africa and all the other things that made gaming great, they are simply alienating more and more people. So I do not blame gamers and others for getting fed up and copying games, I don't condone it, but I can't honestly say I blame them.

We all know that these guys are in it to make money, who isn't, but these days it feels like they are trying to milk you for every cent you have and they don't give a crap about gamers anymore. It feels like these vultures are picking your bones for every last fibre of flesh and will probably eat the bones as well. just in case they missed something.

Let's face it, publishers like Activision don't give a rat's ass about customers anymore, other than to see how much money they have.

As I said, corporate BS. They are taking all the good stuff away from the gamers, things that we enjoy- because they don't see it as profitable. Well it's only a matter of time until the gamers who realize this give them the finger.

Much like this new crap they came out with in Black Ops. I mean, seriously- what the @#*@# man! Why do we.. you know what, If I think about it p****s me off so much I can't think. WHY CAN'T THE GAME JUST SUPPORT DEDICATED SERVERS WITHOUT THE BS?! FFS MAN!

I'll check it out after work.

Also is it a lost sale if a person wouldn't have bought it in the first place?
