i see no harm in lobbies if it's done as l4d2 is, besides consoles don't have dedi's and i've played many times on it without fail. however i also do feel that the developers should include a lan option along side their lobbies, period.

For consoles they should def create party group and lobbies. They should use Halo Reach as an example of how to do it.
