I wanted to, but after scathing reviews and a quickly evaporating bank balance, i cant.

I got it on saturday, started playing by 5/6 ish for an hour or so and finished it on sunday morning... on hard.
Thing about MOH is had it come out before or at the same time as the Original Modern Warfare it would have been heralded as a truly epic game. It wasn't bad but everything it did has been done, several years ago. Its hard to really get into the plot, yes it was similar to Black Hawk Down but this kinda thing really happened so maybe they went with a more realistic, in terms of plot, approach and often real life doesn't make for compelling story telling.
The sadest thing about MOH is, had it been done properly with a Band of Brother or Saving Private Ryan kinda plot, it could have told a really mature, intresting story about war and the horrors there of. But like the reviews say, quiet often MOH turns into a turkey shoot. Some coding issues there is aswel, I mean nothing breaks immersion like having one of ur NPC counterparts shoot a taliban soldier and having said taliban soldier doing rag doll cartwheels through the air....
Overall not a bad game, just a one out of its time. Hopefully the chaps at Danger Close can improve up what they have done and continue the rebooted MOH serrier with more games.
I really enjoyed the Deuce and Dusty Missions

Thanks. I think I will go with Borderlands and wait for it to be pre-played.
