Works according to skill and not level, so matches are pretty even. Your commander has a level and also a skill rating, the matchmaking works on the skill rating. That said, there are the usual imbalance debates going off like crazy. I started a thread in the CoH forum on SGS as well. When you're in, give us a shout

Seeing as we live near the end of the world, is lag a problem?

Not really, there have been a few occasions where lag has been an issue but it's usually due to some knob having his settings too high Generally it's not a problem at all

Sooo... Whats the biggest difference between this and regular CoH?

It's FREE! The biggest difference is the multiplayer side of things, you now get army item that provide universal upgrades to your troops and vehicles as well as getting Hero units which can be levelled up to increase their effectiveness. Adds a nice twist from vCoH.
