cock gun - achievement unlocked
kill enemy - achievement unlocked
kill 2x enemies - achievement unlocked

... can't but help sometimes to think that we would be better off without this "achievement unlocked" nonsense.

Which game?

I have noticed that some games give away achievements for Free while others make you work for it.

I like ones akin to "Get 10 Headshots in a row with out dying" 10G, but some games gives you 25+ G for doing fsk all.

I also think there should be a distinction between Single player and Multiplayer achievements. Alot of games and Halo, COD and BF:BC2 are guilty of this, giving a meager ammount fo Gamescore for the sp but locking loads away in MP.

THing is, COD, BC2 are games that cater primarily for online/MP, so it makes sense I suppose that they would concentrate the achievements there.

Yeah I understand that, which is why I say it woul be nice to have like a SP and MP game score... that way the ppl who dont want to play MP can still have their cake and eat it.

Missery Loves Company FTW! And I got it to lvl3 legit, in the heat of battle! No screwing around.

But yeah, the SP and MP needs to be more closely linked in games by having certain features in the MP locked off untill the campaign has been completed for example.

A ponetial example in CoD4 is not being able to get a guille suit with your sniper rifle in the MP untill the two sniper missions in the SP has been completed.
