    Default WoW Fanboy schools Blizzard

Dunno if you guys have seen this. A WoW fan gets up and teaches the Blizzard panel a lesson in maintaining the accuracy of their lore across multiple formats.

Red Shirt Guy: Hello. I have... I just finished reading The Shattering yesterday and I noticed something. It said that Falstad Wildhammer was going to be on the Council of Three Hammers but in the beta it's Kurdran Wildhammer and Falstad is not in the game at all. What happened to him?

Chris Metzen: Isn't Falstad dead? From Day of the Dragon? No?

Red Shirt Guy: No, he survived and in fact he was the leader of Aerie Peak in vanilla WoW through Wrath of the Lich King.

Chris Metzen: Of course... Yeah, Alex what's up with that?

Alex Afrasiabi: Thanks, Thanks for pointing that out. We're going to get that fixed.

    Red Shirt Guy: Thank you.

    1. He would have sounded more human had he been using MS voice synthesizer. Too much WoW is epically bad for you. That video is proof.

    2. He needs to get laid and step out of Aldaron/Valaron or whatever the hell is the name of the place where WoW takes place. I mean he's got beef with a fictional setting that is bound to have slight inaccuracies and that's alright. People need to use a character (or his descendants/ancestors) in one way to move a book forward and in another way to move a game forward - it's called artistic license.

It's a pretty bad oversight - It's like one day Darth Vader is just Luke Skywalker's second cousin.

Never mind, he's absolutely right. Blizzard's reaction is kinda funny.
