It has been confirmed, WA are peering with MWeb and those wishing to play Black Ops, would have the benefit of lower pings. With regards to Freezone usage, I am unsure.

Any way to have a full blown list, that gets updated, with regards to what ISP's are peering / will result in playable Black Ops?
That way people know where they stand and which ISP's they should or shouldn't use to play the game?

At the moment, as far as I know:
    MWEB : YES
    WebAfrica : YES
    Telkom : NO
    Vodacom / MTN : NO

I have an issue with WebAfrica's reply. They stated that they are peering with MWEB, but does that mean that their SAIX and IS based ADSL accounts will benefit from the lower pings, or does it only apply to their IS based accounts? Remember, the majority of WA accounts are based on SAIX - which is telkom?

I'd like to know how bad the pings will be if your ISP is say Vodacom (mine actually) and you connect to these MWEB servers?

Theoretically around 500-700ms, double your normal international latency. Your ISP -> London -> Mweb -> London -> Your ISP would be the route.

This is correct. Spoke to MWEB CEO Rudi Jansen, and he confirmed that Vodacom, MTN and Telkom users will connect to the Black Ops servers via London.

Eish, no BlackOps for me then.

Hey Tinman, they're confusing the crud out of me. When they mention "Telkom"....do they mean "SAIX"? If so, isn't WebAfrica's accounts mostly SAIX based? They're not very accurate with their statements. It's so frustrating.
