    MWEB confirms exclusive Black Ops server deal

    Local ISP locks locks down exclusivity deal with Gameservers

    Errr...I'm with WebAfrica....would I be able to connect directly to MWEB?

    This is brilliant news - hopefully clients will put pressure on their ISPs to peer with MWEB.

    does mweb sell prepaid capped accounts? I cant see to find any on their site, only R69 pm

    I replied to the thread on the WA forums, but like I said in my thread, if WA peer with MWEB it means that it will somehow reduce costs, which in turn means they'll make less money, which in turn means that WA will vomit at the very mention of the idea.

    Well they will lose more money due to routing internationally and clients canceling accounts.

    Reply from Rob a game server admin at WebAfrica:

    I think plans are still up in the air over at WA about Black Ops. I have heard that WA has plans to peer with Mweb.

    I will ask one of the WA okes to enlighten us on this subject as I don't know much about this.

    I will move off WA if need be, I am not happy with them anyway.
