It's a humongous rollout. I'd expect to see more stuff added throughout the day.

That's why I'm going to migrate at least one of my accounts. That way I'll still somehow show MS that there IS indeed interest in XBOX Live in South Africa. I'm also afraid of what might happen if interest levels remain low. We'll be stuck in the closet for every new MS service for the rest of our lives. EEEEK

I'd be interested to hear how many people who do not have PCs or Macs use their XBoxen for Social Networking.
I find typing out messages on my Xbox clunky and prefer to use a full-sized keyboard and mouse.

The way I see it, Microsoft SA have concentrated on the central feature of Xbox Live, and assuming that most or all of the gaming
content is available locally, that may be sufficient for most South African Xbox gamers.

Have you any idea whether the Xbox Live content is being hosted locally and if so, who is doing it?

@Omega: What? Spend several hundred rand in case I want to send the odd message? You know me better than that!

Besides, the keys are tiny, aren't they?

I didn't say it was a particularly cost effective or viable alternative but it is an alternative.
