After the first dog that I ever had died, a Border Collie I (he was 16 years old) I was really sad. The best thing to do is just to get a new puppy. I'm still sad about the other one some days, but that's life..
True dat. My dogs are like my children.
    Sorry for your loss Tank.

mutated some how from the measles virus in humans

how sad is that, mans best friend killed by his master
Just don't beat yourself up about it too much dude. There's nothing fun about death and just because it's a pet doesn't make it any easier. I hope, when you eventually do get a new puppy, that it's an awesome doggy

we will get a new one eventually

most folks say they never will and never do because the new dog isn't gonna be the same, but in my oppinion that's the point. what's the point if the dog was the same? dogs each have their own personality. which makes each dog unique to the next.

we'll probably look at a Basset again, they're just so dang cute with their floppy ears and droopy look the whole time, and so calm. such nice dogs. other one we'd like to get again is a proper Staffie, man those dogs are fun, naughty but fun

    Play games, not platforms
