I decided to go with the boxed version. Less guess work and worries for me in the end. Can't wait though.![]()
I went with the big bad collector's edition boxed copy for this. I know retail is going to let me down and probably not have stock / get delayed / whatever, but I will be proud to have a boxed copy of this on my shelf.
If my copy does get delayed though, I will probably just get it through Steam as well, I will be too impatient to wait =)
I wonder how many aus/nz gamers will now be canceling their local preorders and going with gog.com to get the uncensored version. For those who don't know gog has dropped the geo ip and will now give you the game based on what you enter under your location...

Preload started. Download is 9.6gig but so far speeds is excellent from gog.com, about 400kbps consistently.
Does anyone know if the game will work on the following set-up:
CPU: 2.8 DualCore E5500
RAM: 2GB (might get another 2GB)
GPU: nVidia Geforce 210 512MB DDR 2
I have a Geforce 8500GT at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it won't run the game and I'm gonna get a better graphics card later in the year. However, I can maybe score a Geforce 210 for cheap from a friend for the time being, but I just want to make sure that the game will run if I get it. I haven't been a PC gamer for a while now so I have no idea what a good gpu is anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Hell, Believe me, I've seen it. If there was a Heaven, I'd keep it a secret
I don't think it would work. These are the required specs to play
OS: Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista SP2 / Windows 7 (32/64-bit)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+
Memory: 1 GB Windows XP / 2 GB Windows Vista and Windows 7
Video Card: 512 MB RAM, supporting Pixel Shader 3.0 (Nvidia GeForce 8800 or ATI Radeon HD3850)
If it does work it will be really slow so try it on a low resolution

LOL, I know what the requirements are and I'm sorted with RAM and CPU, but I don't know much about GPU's. Basically what I want to know is how does the GT 210 compare to a 8800 GT. In the end I really don't care if I have to play thr game on lowest possible settings, as long as I can play it I'm happy. Thanks anyway.![]()
If the GT 210 is utterly crap (as I suspect it is), I might also be able to get my hands on a 1GB GT 430. I'm pretty sure that will run the game.
