    I love this subject.

I am voting DA because I think that they are by far doing the best job anyone else is doing. If they can do to the rest of the country what they've done for Cape Town, I will have no hesitation in saying that SA is the best country in the world.

I am sick and tired of the corruption and stupidity that I find in certain government officials. I am often embarrassed to be a South African when I have to listen to something JZ or someone else says.

Anyone who can vote but doesn't, needs to realise that they are basically voting for the ANC. This year round is the first time the ANC has a chance to fall and anyone who wants a change needs to put in their effort and vote.

    Thats my opinion anyway

Is it just me or do you find Helen Zille annoying?
I sometimes wish she'd put a sock in it.

    I'm too young to vote

If I were to vote, it would be the DA, as I live in Cape Town, and Zille was voted world's best mayor(2008). So DA!

BTW, apparantly there are over 100 parties registered to vote...just a rumour that I heard.

Yeah there are close to if not 100 registered parties. A bit unfortunate, because everyone who doesn't want the ANC to win will spread their votes out so broadly. But let us see. Today is the day the guys overseas get to vote, another week for us.

for anyone not interested in voting please do so, as for every vote the opposition gets, the anc needs 2 to get the 2/3 they want

There's around 160 political parties or so. Not all of them are on the list of parties for whom you can vote in the elections though.

I read their manifesto, and I think they have done a fantastic job with Cape Town.
