Yep , that's all I've been able to find as well. It seems someone has misinterpreted 'dynamic weather system' and thought it was interactive with real world patterns.

I kinda like the way they did it in this game though...otherwise for 11 months of the year you'll be driving in the rain on Silverstone.

Any idea if they've included the top gear test track in this one?

Not sure but I think their is a track editor so maybe you could make it yourself.

I have the game. I am not a fan of simulators at all, will probably not play very far into this game, but it is damn impressive. Visuals are amazing and cars handle really well. Can't go into more detail because I know nothing about car physics, etc.

And yes, it does have the Top Gear test track.

This one is a keeper. Even though I'm not a big fan of simulators this is a game that belongs in my collection.

Gran Turismo 5 is a 10/10 simulator wrapped up in a 5/10 game – it’s driving is as exhilarating as anything that’s gone before, and its slavish obsession with the minutiae of many of its cars ensure it's an encyclopaedia of automotive delights. Its brilliance on the track, however is matched by its sloppiness off of it, and there’s a lack of polish that would at one time have seemed sacrilegious to the series. Ultimately its driving wins out to ensure that it’s still a great game, but it leaves that nagging doubt; this could have been a masterpiece were it not for the fact that Polyphony was so absorbed with the detail that it took its eye off the ball.
    IGN Gave it 8.5....

Here is the closing comment of Forza 3's reivew.

Forza Motorsport 3 is an exemplary racing game. It's beautiful, the controls are spot-on, the career mode is satisfying, and the multiplayer component is awesome. But there's still room to grow. The visuals could be even better, the career mode sags at times, and there needs to be at least one more option for AI difficulty. Even with those concerns, Forza 3 is a big step forward for sim racing games. Turn 10 has thrown down the gauntlet and it will be a real challenge for Polyphony Digital to deliver a superior racer with Gran Turismo 5. After all, this is the best racing game of this generation. Good luck topping it.
    IGN gave it 9.4

I know dude, hence the fact that I don't want to spend! Haha, but yes I really do want to get a console one day dude.. I've always wanted to get an Xbox of a PS. Especially since I loved the previous games of the GT series. I remember playing GT with my cousin when we were younger, the whole day.

Maybe I can win one somewhere ...
