Often, too much importance is placed on the amount of memory on a card.

Heres a benchmark of the old 320mb 8800 vs the 640mb 8800. Only minor performance differences with double the ram.

Now compare the 320mb 8800 vs the 512mb 8600.

The only benefit to extra memory is when you start turning AA and AF on at higher resolutions (1680X1050 and up)...

could we maybe have 2 cards in the next installment as a comparison , i don't mean benchmarks and such, but just so we can see the production specs (i.e.. fabrication, gpu bandwidth, etc) of 2 different cards. I think this would be cool
