40Mbps broadband from Telkom: register your interest

I would be happy with 20mb... as long as they upgrade the upload speed because the 50KB/s ain't cutting it.
 
I signed up purely for interests sake because my area is one of the exchanges being trialed for VDSL.
 
I just want copper lines in my area for now :(

Although it is a step in the right direction I guess...


Perhaps if I fill out the form and request 40Mbit they could be kind, install copper lines and give me 384K / 1Mbit? :D
 
Haha, classic IBIWISI article.

It's been what two years now and they still haven't upgraded all of the 4Mbps lines to 10MBps? Hell I doubt they are 30% of the way there.

How long will you have to be on this list? :D
 
Bru, 40 Mbps? I would be extremely happy if they just give us 10 Mbps at an affordable rate. Forget about infrastructure upgrades and faster options - what we really need if price changes.

As the speeds go up the lower contract prices should go down...
 
It's nice to think about this, but in all honesty, this will be priced and aimed at businesses, definitely not for home users.
