A 68-year-old man was arrested for driving at 201 km/h on the N1 highway near the Rivonia offramp, Johannesburg metro police said on Sunday.

"He was caught clocking 201km/h in his Mercedes Benz last night [Saturday]. He was with his wife and a child," said Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.

He was expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
