Chanter's aren't bad healers ... but if you're going into an elite area it's best to have at least 2 of them.

I prefer having a full cleric in the group - chanters are useful in the front ... decent crit and I think damage is slightly less than the templars. Knock-down also pwns :)

exactly. with the first group i went we where 2x chanters and it was ok even when we accidentally pulled too many we made it, but with the second group being just me lol there were deaths...
 
Ummm ... I don't think its an exact match ... but its close enough I guess.

The chanters are basically there to buff the group - they use a set of sustainable mantras to boost defence, attack, speed, HP etc of the entire group - although any one chanter can only have 3 mantras active at a time.

Beyond that, they have some fairly decent attack skills (not spells - they specialise in melee damage), and they can do a medium amount of damage, not high enough to qualify as a DPS. If you use a staff as a weapon you also get a fairly good crit rate.

Anyway, how you guys enjoying the game so far? Levels? Disappointed still that their yet to take proper action on bots and gold sellers.
 
Can anyone tell me more or less how big the updates are that the game will download if I install it now? I just got the game, but I don't exactly have a lot of cap so i wanna know if it's worth installing.

I'm not really sure but I think it's about 500mb.
 
can anyone assist me, i'm trying to go to my Aion account but when i try to logon to the NCsoft account management page it says my username and/or password is/are wrong... now i'm definitely using the account name and password used to logon to Aion but still????

anyone know what i'm doing wrong here?
 
You're set to the wrong region ... it's trying to sign onto the US servers. Change to EU. We went over this before, remember?
 
it's not that... i'm on the EU site but it wont let me logon.... sent a message to their support and they're trying to reset me =/
 
I had the most horrible experience with a pick-up group yesterday. If anybody has any idea how to be a cleric for a group of idiots - please share them with me :/
