Aion - General Discussion

Maybe I should just be the group leader next time.

I ended up dumping the group after I got killed - tank wasn't doing his job and every member in the group had his own idea of which mob to target. Healing the tank is easy - healing the tank and gladiator together is doable - but when

1. the healer takes aggro, and
2. other people start taking hits,

the job becomes impossible. And I'm not keen to hang around when I get told I'm not doing my job.

I'm still playing pretty regularly - although I'm planning to slow down a bit now. I have 6 alts though, so whenever I get a little bored with one I switch over to another :)

The only classes I haven't played so far are Ranger and Templar.

rotation works :)

same here also haven't rolled a ranger or templar. been playing asomodian a bit then ill go with some elyos; change of scenery always good. besides this time round ill play both sides a bit instead of just whoring up some alliance :D

It seems that in general the novelty may be wearing off of it if the Xfire statistics are anything to go by. It's showing a steady decline in playtime similar to what Age of Conan and Warhammer experience.

Time will tell if it lasts long in the West or if it turns out to only be huge over in the East.

Even i'm starting to lose interest... well maybe thats because of Borderlands, Uncharted 2, Dragon Age and Modern Warfare 2 :).

we don't need you two ;)

j/k

i still like the overly done fanatsy for now i'mn sticking with it till either mortal online zomg me or something like huxely/kotor online. besides i still have my korean hellgate account to fall back onto.

Some of the decrease is probably due to all the WoW fanboys moving back to their territory - who knows?

My playing time will probably be decreasing as well - but that's only because I'll most likely be splitting time between Guild Wars and Aion - since I do have a guild to run after all.

It's probably people moving back to WoW indeed, as Aion isn't exactly the most innovative game out there :D I guess when you get used to something over the years, you find it hard to play something that feels like a rip-off of it.

yeah it's a farkin grind of note...

meh reminded me why i dropped mmo's in the first place

Same reason im phasing them out. Even Eve, awesome as it was become little more than a grind. DDO still has a pretty nice story quest but haven't played in ages.
