In the wake of Halo: The Master Chief Collection's troubled launch, 343 Industries has confirmed it will have a beta for all future Halo games.
"There is so much we learned with the Halo 5 beta. There is actually stuff we took from our Master Chief Collection -- learnings that we were able to put into the [Halo 5: Guardians] beta," studio head Bonnie Ross told Game Informer.
"Going forward, you will never see a Halo game coming out without a beta. [Master Chief Collection] was obviously painful for our fans and for us. But it won't happen again," Ross added.
343 Industries is going to great lengths to ensure Halo 5: Guardians is successful, especially in the multiplayer space. In fact, the studio revealed just yesterday that all of the game's post-launch multiplayer maps will be free.
