A Nvidia Gts 250 1gig
or an HD 4850 1gig

Prices about R1100-R1350

Since seeing as zaps is dropping me. Had a look at Take2,Computers only, Sybaritic, kalahari,The hubonline, prophecy shop nothing is in stock. That's why I ordered from zaps seeing as there is no out of stock only order now.
Also on Digital Addiction but the prices are freaking high for the same cards they are asking R1800+
 
Those cards are pretty similar so I'd go for the cheaper one. I was looking at them a while ago and kept thinking i'd be keen for the 4890, but it's already R2k so I'm unsure.

I'm still sitting with my 8600GT and mostly just play rpg's on it, my Xbox/PS3 is where I'm focusing on now.
 
Yeah voicy that's why it does not matter so much. The ati is cheaper but its also out of stock now just looking for a place who got stock.

Just got a reply from them they are also out of stock, Shock I got was R150 for delivery.

Just going to have to wait for customs to release zaps stuff till I can get it.

Dam and wanted to do the wiring this weekend:( that I ordered with the card.

Yeah PC Int's shipping is a bit harsh.
That same site I pointed out has a 250 1GB for R1150 as well, but thats that Club3d Green Edition one.

Was looking into getting a new hhd also green Edition

Have you bough from them before murph how much are their delivery cost.

No I haven't but a buddy of mine got his monitor and card through them and didn't have any issues. I think their shipping costs are in the region of R50 to main centres. I don't know if they consider Kimberley a main centre though. Some do, some don't.

Rory from Wootware here. Saw the link, thought I'd comment on stock. The Club 3D GTS 250 1GB cards aren't currently in stock (am told that there's new stock, but that it's at customs currently). There are 4x of the Leadtek GTS 250 1GBs in stock with our supplier (can dispatch on Monday).

The only HD4850 that we can get at the moment (that I know of) is the Gigabyte HD4850 512MB card. The Club 3D HD4850s are EOL (just removed them from the site).

Shipping on either GTS 250 would be: R51.00 incl. to a main-centre and R108.00 incl. to regional areas. You can get a delivery estimate for any items that you add to your basket on our site, before hitting checkout.

My apologies in advance if I've broken any rules, just wanted to clarify, since our site was linked to and questions were asked. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or contact us directly :) .

Haha no worries no rules where broken. Thanks for the response its appreciated, yeah seems everybody's GTS 250 are at customs, Dam was afraid of the 4850 when I did my research on it. But since those 2 cards are the best in their price-range was looking for either. Does Kimberley fall under main since well it is the Capitol city of the northern cape.

Thanks but not interested in buying another Gigabyte product. The leadtek is out of my pricerange with shipping.

Tis a pleasure :) . Some areas in Kimberly are considered main-centre. Just would need to know the suburb and postal code in order to confirm for you.
