We've found a torrent going around sharing the PC beta files, which one then copies into their Origin install directory.

Didn't work first time round using wage's ftp install, but then

1) after letting poor origin recreate the directory
2) exiting the client
3) removing all the files in it
4) extracting the wage one into it
5) restarting origin it was ready to install

note that I see the directory changed from the initial "...open beta" to just "...beta".
