Best PSU for R1000

would like to run 2 oc'd gtx 550 ti then eventually 2 660 ti's when I get enough cash but wan to look at some hardware at rAge
 
Dont wast money on 660ti.rather get cf 7950's.they sell for the same price and 660tis are bad with AA.and a good antec or corsair 750w+ psu should suffice.but check out a psu calculator for peace of mind
 
If you're gonna be buying from Rage, go check out the Computersonly stand, they'll be selling XFX power supplies.
The GS800 isn't a bad psu but you can do a hell of a lot better for the same amount of cash.

and you can pick up a GS800 < R1000(the new model with corsail link,and looks rad)

Thanks I will look at computersonly at rAge Is the antec better than the xfx 750w.

None of those are fully modular. The cheapest Fully modular PSU for around that budget would be the XFX 650w XXX Edition.
Or you could look at the Antec High Current Gamer 620w M.

I have used both and I love both to bits, you can't go wrong with either of them to be honest.

AX = Fully Modular (7 year warranty)
HX = Semi Modular (5 year warranty)
TX = Non-modular (5 year warranty)
GS = Non-modular (3 year warranty)
CX = Non-modular (3 year warranty)
VX = Non-modular (3 year warranty)

Just a side note, Corsair is not even close to being the best PSU manufacturer. That title belongs to Antec.
Antec make the absolute best psu's money can buy.

Nope its not.

Here is the list:

1. Seasonic 1000w platinum (Seasonic built)
2. Antec hcp 1000 platinum (Delta built)

We don't get seasonic in SA so the best psu you can buy locally is Antec. All their power supplies are delta built.
oh and just another thing. The decent XFX and Corsair are Seasonic built psu's, yet corsair's are a hell of a lot more pricey than XFX...ever wonder why?

Oh and I am not arguing with you bud just sharing some facts :D I have done a lot of research on the subject :) There is another brand we can't get in SA that's called Kingwin which is also damn good, but alas we are on the ass end of the earth so we have to buy what we can.

Corsair is by no means crap, in fact they are damn good, they just charge a premium for their hardware that in all honesty is just stupid but they have a strong brand and I guess that'll never change.
