NO I seriously built that rig the other day to replay NFS II SE 3dFX, incoming 3dFX, Carmageddon 3dFX, NFS3, NFS4, Tomb Raider 3dFX, Forsaken, Diablo II 3DFX, Future Cop LAPD, G-Police, Monster Truck Madness 2, etc etc.

I love my old games, I really do, still play lots of them daily as the machine is permanently hooked up next to my normal gaming machine.

@ joker. the machine runs 100%, apart from some Native Win98 and no long forgotten issues. Nothing serious though. Its specially enjoyable with some alcoholic beverage to really get into the oldies and the way you experienced them all those many years ago!

yeah dude I am a very pasionate gamer.

I am seriously one of those "old skool" laaities.

Graphics, horrid controls, etc etc dont bother me none.

IF a game is good I play it no matter what it looks or sounds like!

but yeah I just have a special place for my oldies.

The gameplay sometimes seems better in older games, the graphics get to me though...some games have awesome graphics and junk gameplay though, farcry2 comes to mind.
 
Well, I bought my notebook for close to R30k a few years ago. So the price is not that ridiculous.
Notebook is now in its 3rd year. I haven't found anything I cannot play yet. I use it for everything, I am not really a desktop / tower kinda guy.

I have actually been thinking it is about the right time for an upgrade... ;)
