Biggest let downs of the PS3 and Xbox 360

awaits comments - the true potential of the ps3 hasnt been seen yet "whistling: they need another 10 years to unlock the true potential of the cell :p

mandatory installs on majority of games
some games felt like it loaded longer than 360 games

once the battery is kaput in the controller you have to chuck the controller

Phats didnt have wifi (atleast my slim has it)
multiple discs (but it was never a problem, ps1's, ps2's, gamecube etc.) not a big issue
small hard drive's on initial models.
never trusted my console standing vertically (disc scratches whenever it stood like that)
my xenon didnt have Hdmi
 
I own both consoles and it really came down to preference IMO.
My biggest problems with the last gen consoles was the over heating in both consoles (much more Xbox RRoD I suppose).

I also remember reading a long time ago that the reason for overheating (especially with the the launch/original's, and by this I mean the phat consoles) was all due to PlayStation and Xbox rushing their console launch date for the sake of Market share and who got their product out the door first.
I don't know if this is true or if I am just another crazy console conspiracy special but it does kind of make sense.
Anyone who bought the phat launch model (I am talking 2005/6 models) knows that they had serious overheating problems.
What do you guys think any truth behind all this?

Otherwise it was pretty much small personal issues for me:
Controller: Xbox over PlayStation (too small + triggers)
Online: PSN over Xbox Live (the one was free)
Camera's: Kinect over PS Eye (they were both pretty much rubbish IMO)
