That is down to personal opinion. I disagree and I know a few people who would agree and a few who would disagree. But I dont have the will to go down this "My Platform is better than Your Platform" debate as I think its STUPID. As for your second question.... I would and I can think of several people on this forum who would also like & pretty sure there is a huge, huge group of ppl who also want it, otherwise Blizzard wouldn't even consider it.

Before Halo people said FPS wouldn't never work on console, they where proven wrong, they said the same thing about RPGs before Morrowind brought it to the PS2 & and now we have Skyrim and the likes of Dark Souls. They will keep saying "It will never work on console" and they will be proven wrong time after time.
As a matter of fact I can, sitting here, thing of a possible control scheme using either PS3 or Xbox remote that would work just fine. And if I in with my novice level designer mindset can think one up Im pretty sure the seasoned vets at Blizzard can do it with their eyes closed.

I agree with Omega. Diablo III would work perfectly fine with a controller - if they make the UI specifically for console - much like Skyrim. Trying to play Skyrim with a k/b & mouse on PC ruined the experience for me so now I play with my PS3 controller. In fact, 95% of the time I game on PC, I use the controller.

While Im sure people could in turn argue that this is due to the developer neglecting the PC... The only genre, IMO, that is near impossible to bring to console with out some kind of amazing Kinect UI is RTS. Halo Wars tried and to an extent succeeded but sacrificed depth for control.

Got to agree my X-box 360 is for racing and arcade fighting (MK, Tekken) games only, oh and dont forget family time with kinect. imagine how much less funtion you will have on the console with Diablo III....... imagine you could play Diablo III with a Kinect!!!! lets give it another 5 years or so ...... otherwise you might not have much of a living room left

Nothing in that post explained to me why I would enjoy Diablo any less on console than I would on PC?

I knew people that played fps better with a controller than a k+m combo. I use to play fps on console. Red faction was better on the ps2 than the pc.
And people must not blame the consoles for games being dumbed down. Thats the publishers fault. To reach more people and make more money. Look at nes and sega games they were hard.
I still love playing on my pc. I watch movies and listen to music and surf the net. Its all here.

Sorry if your trying to make a point your doing a really shitty job of it. I still dont know why I would get "less function" (whatever the frak that is suppose to mean) out of D3 on console vs PC. But in all honestly I really couldnt give a shit. Ill hapily debate the pro's & con's on D3 on Console intelligently, I will not however debate it with someone how can defend their point and needs to retaliate with, what they seem to think counts as, a snide remark.
