10 hours in and I'm still loving it! Definitely recommended for anyone interested in city builders. Greenmangaming has it for $22 currently.

Got the game last week and am Loving it so far. Really cool gameplay, and for the first play through the unlock system feels nicely paced. It could be a bit annoying during your next few cities however there are already mods on the steam workshop to allow all buildings and features unlocked from the beginning. I recommend playing normally for your first city just to get a feel for the progression.

I don't have an overly big city yet, probably just over 3/4 of one square filled up and it already feels big to me. Haven't even started in one of the adjacent spaces, let alone the 8 you can grow to, or 24 if you unlock the rest with mods. So you really wont have a problem with space like you did in Sim City. One thing I have noticed already though is the amount of abandoned buildings that need to be demolished, it happens quite often, so when you have a huge city it will get annoying, luckily there is also a mod for this that automatically demolishes abandoned buildings, I highly recommend this, you will find it on the steam workshop.
