Curved Screens

Will lift for boobs!
I have always been very skeptic about hopping onto hype trains and new technology too soon as so many products these days are gimmicky and provide 0 advantage. People probably said this about flat screens when they took over CRT screens, and look where we are now.

But the curved thing seems a bit different to me.
It is supposed to give you a more immersive experience, giving you a wider field of vision of what is being displayed. But then the screen will have to be HUGE and you will have to be sitting with you nose against the screen to really experience the immersive factor.

Does anyone here have a curved screen and can explain why you got it?

Don't have one, and no experience with one.

That said, I feel it is a marketing gimmick, especially with TV's where you sit far away. It might work as a monitor because very close to it, but even so I don't think it will work better than a flat panel. With the added cost of a curved panel it is definitely not something I would get.

I know The Joker has a wide panel with a 21:9 ratio, but not sure if his is curved.

Even with gaming, the curve is so little that I can't imagine it makes a difference. Making taking 2 or 3 border less screens might make a difference. But as you say, that price tag.

It looks great however, won't deny that
