Dedicated PhysX....did it...and now I'm confused

So...I have a fairly decent Dual Core CPU running at 4.2GHz paired with 2 GTX280's in SLi. Not a bad setup at all and I easily get about 23,000 performance marks in 3DMark Vantage. However, now that the new Batman Arkham Asylum is on the scene I finally felt the need to move the PhysX to a dedicated card, so I bought and installed a 512MB 9800GT card and made it my new physx processor.

Now the thing is, Batman runs smoother and at a higher framerate, but my 3DMark Vantage score is down to 20,000! What gives?!?

Anyone else tried to experiment with dedicated Physx yet?

I'd honestly be less concerned about your score in 3dmark than your performance in game. If you get a consistently higher, and smoother framerate in games, then you have nothing to be concerned about. I'm speculating here, but if physx is disabled in Vantage, the discrete physx card may be dragging your gpu score down.

Like Green Orb said, dont worry too much about 3D mark score. If the games run smoother, then you have nothing to worry about
