Diablo III designer apologises for Facebook comments about Diablo creator

I always feel like apologies like this come from a business perspective... oh well, maybe he is sorry. I guess when someone criticizes many years of your work, you get defensive. He did go overboard, though.
 
I think this whole saga just showed us the maturity (or lack there of) of the guys at Blizzard.

It's no longer a surprise to me that D3 lost 90% of it's players without 2 months.

Sincere apology isn't really sincere.

This guy is just butthurt because Activision forced design decisions on them that resulted in the game sucking.
 
I still don't get why there is all this drama around this, it certainly doesn't affect how I perceive Diablo.

Does the guy look a bit of a doos? Maybe. But we have plenty of those in the gaming industry. Cliffy "Don't call me CliffyB" B, Dave Perry, John Romero, John Carmack, etc. Did their douchiness ever change your opinion of GoW or Earthworm Jim or Quake?
