Diablo III for consoles in development

I would get this!
I remember playing D1 years ago on my PS1 or was it PS2.... cant really remember, but it worked well and I enjoyed it!!

PS1 :) Still got it (and the PS1 lol)

Remember think it was level 36 had to go through the game on hell difficulty to level up once :/ and the 3x3 dupe trick lol
 
Don't you have more spells than you have buttons on a controller? Will they be using a modified Graphical User Interface? I must say that games like Diablo, Fable and racing games are the only games I prefer playing on a console.

Like they said, it just feels right.
 
I never thought it would be possible to play Diablo on a console, until I got Skyrim for PS3. I have to be honest, I would prefer playing Diablo 3 on the PS3 over the PC, if the controls are as easy as the controls for Skyrim.

Also, because my PC is old and probably won't run it :(
 
You will probably still need to use battle.net even if you are playing on the console? Would one still need to be online permanently like the PC version?

With so many people who loved playing DII now gaming on console it would have been stupid not to bring DIII to consoles.

I would quiet like to compare the two version, when released and see exactly what sacrifices, if any, where made.

@Zomosa: Most consoles operate always online as it stands now so Im guessing the answer would be yes.

The Diablo console project was not a rumour it was confirmed ages ago, last years BlizCon, and they said they had people actively looking into bringing Diablo to consoles. I don't see how this changes anything, there is still no word about whether the game is fully in development or even if it's Diablo 3 or some other Diablo spinoff for consoles.
