The soon-to-be-established anti-corruption bureau will target private sector players who lure public servants into "unholy alliances", Public Service and Administration Minister Lindiwe Sisulu warned on Wednesday.

Briefing Parliament's portfolio committee on public service and administration, Sisulu said the bureau would be based on a model used by the Tanzanian government.

Because government employees are all squeaky clean?

The problem IMO is not that people in the private sector are corrupting government employees, it's the fact that people in the government are the same people operating in the private sector, and that's what makes it so easy. Loads of government officials sit on the board of private companies, or have a big interest in the companies that somehow get awarded tenders etc.
 
This is blame shifting 101.

It's like shoplifting from Checkers and then blaming the staff/management for leaving the goods unattended when I get caught.
