I would sort of agree. Yes there are really big concerns when it comes to app discovery BUT I don't think publishers are the answer. I would tend to think that the stores themselves should be looking at solving these problems since once you get competition going in the digital space. If your platform is known to be user-friendly and let you find good apps you like then you're going to have a big advantage over a platform that is just an app dump that forces you to wade through tons of poo before you get to the good stuff, if you ever manage to find it.
