...makes me think back to the doom-boom. when doom was successful every joe, john and sue wanted to make an fsp. Lets reboot half life as a RTS i mean FPS is so 97.

I'd have to agree with Prophet. Syndicate series was one of the many PC games that I enjoyed as a child. The reason I state that it's going to suck as an FPS is because it's going to end up an FPS clone and it will turn out like C&C Renegade, a stale FPS that was built on a great RTS game.

Now they tell us deal with it... Well I'm sorry to say developers are just getting lazy if they aren't going to make an RTS game =\. But ya, by the looks of things I'm probably gonna give this a miss. I just have this feeling that they are going to stuff it up.

And wheunis, as I said, they are just becoming lazy.

Ja but bru, that's just how it is. They made the choice, you can't change it. Take it or leave. If it's really, really good- I'll take it. If it's shit, then leave it on the shelf. Just as I did with Brink and many other this year.
 
Funny enough the same studio that brought us Diakatana also brought is Deus Ex, pitty by the time Deus Ex got popular it was already too late for Ion Storm. It would have been interesting to see what else they produced.
