Well for one it is fun to play a old game with updated visuals and sound. And the fact it is earthworm Jim just justifies the remake of it. And they are adding new stuff as well.

tie figther SE would be nice

monkey island 2 se is going to be nice

serious sam HD is lekker with friends

getting seious sam se HD soon

quite few titles i can think of which HD would be great... buldars gate 1 ? sure it's not going to rock your socks off as it did the very first time, but i would love it- decent ? sure.

Is it the same company who made the original who are doing it?

See IMHO i feel devs should rather focus their energy on creating new IPs instead of clinging to old one like a sewer rat to a floating turd. Granted the GoW remakes where brilliant but this is because i never played them before, if i had it would have been "Meh ok". It just seems pointless to keep remaking old IPs . Isn't the market stagnant enough with out re-animating dead IPs like Zombies in a George A. Romero Movie?

Just my opinion.
