Fallout 4 has more dialogue than Fallout 3 and Skyrim combined

I love big roleplaying games. To just go talk with people and find cool stories and all that. But they've become so huge that there's no time for other games.

Won't someone pay me to play games? I would really appreciate it.

Please contact your local games' developer on [insert number here]
Alternatively, you can e-mail them at [insert e-mail here]

I can't do everything for you :p

So long as (for me) it's not a MOBA, RTS, or any other (similar) game type, I'd gladly like to be a game tester. Wanted that kind of job for years.
I don't just complain about games, if I find a fault (IMO) I'll make mention of it.

This is all great and everything but lots of dialog doesn't mean quality dialog "whistling: I hope this game isn't over hyped and ends up falling on it face.

That would seriously break my heart.
When my brother told me there'd be a Fallout 4, I could not beLIEVE what I was hearing. Saw footage; was besotted.

It's my favourite part! I like the dialogue and the stories and the lore more than the fighting.

I'm an inbetweener in that regarding. Watch limbs fly is just as important as catching up on on the story.
I try to avoid combat; prefer a 'return fire' approach.

Was just thinking the same thing. I love having more dialog, but it would suck if it's just more vacant, boring dialog that doesn't really add anything to the game.

One thing Bethesda has trouble with is balancing quantity with quality.

I don't actually skip the dialogue, I read over it in a quarter of the time it takes them to speak the dialogue, so I end up skipping the listening bit.

Sometime it feels like the developers put in extra dialogue just to make the game longer... I suppose it's to add a "real element" to the game or something, but then I don;t want to do 50% game, 50% reading....
