Fallout: New Vegas mod adds new campaign

So, I want to play Fallout New Vegas. Should I first play the game as it is with the official DLC or should I add something like this?

Are there any other mods that are must haves?

Hmmm maybe I should just play it vanilla for my first playthrough.

With this mod specifically, I don't think it matters which comes first since it does not have any link with the main story. This mod is only the first chapter so unfortunately, once you've finished this mod, you'll have to wait for the next chapters before you continue your game. You will basically load your saved game after chapter 1 and continue from there when chapter 2 is released.

I found that although some of the texture mods do make the game look pretty-er (looks pretty good standard), it does make it pretty unstable. Unless there is something specific that you want modded, I'd recommend going vanilla since Fallout 3 and Fallout NV can crash quite often as it is (no additional help needed).

P.S. This is a VERY long game. Probably over 80 hours. I think I played it twice. First without DLC and then with DLC some time later.

I can vouch for this. I had a particularly tough time with Fallout New Vegas. Having said that, I have been following this Project Brazil mod for a while, and I might be tempted to try it out some time.

Just wish I had more time to get to this. Bought it a while back and haven't even loaded it yet :(

I got it right after the DLC landed. I got about 96+ hours of the game including the DLC. ( It should be noted that I get distracted very very often :p) it was well worth the money. Going to get this shiz soon
