FarCry goes back to the jungle - E3 preview with gameplay video

Will outwait the hype, get the game, play a bit, and see if its worth buying. I dont spend money based on reviews/hype/opinions. Though this would only apply to software side of things...
 
Oh wow, if this game is ANYTHING like Far Cry 2 I wouldn't consider buying it. Far Cry 2 was just so "Meh!" I guess some parts of the story were cool and all but then as soon as the end drew near it got really repetitive and it became more of a chore than fun to play the game. So I'm open-minded but still keeping my opinions considering Far Cry 2.
 
This might be worth a look. I've never played the 1st Far Cry, but Far Cry2 was very boring. It looked beautiful and the gameplay wasnt too awful, but the game felt like it was just free-roam. They could've structured the story more and made it a tiny bit more linear. I never finished it because it felt like I never got anywhere in the story. Took too long. Hopefully the 3rd one will be more linear with regards to story and more variety in combat, as in FC2 most places looked the same and combat was pretty much the same. No need for writing the 3rd installment off yet.
