I am pleased to hear this. We seldom realise how much our parents mean to us or how special they are or how much they have done for us ... until they are no longer there. I have 3 moms (bio, in-law & step-) and no fathers (as of this weekend). I no longer take any of them for granted.

Love your parents and cherish them always. If you are estranged, maybe, find a way to build bridges before you have any regrets.

I almost reached a point a few years ago where I would cut ties with a parent.
We sorted things out in good time though.


Family is irreplaceable.
 
Still dread the day when my moms dies since she supports me so much so not sure what I would do if she also dies same with my brother wish we could live forever.

I lost a sibling many, many years ago.
He was quite young...
 
I had a horrendous flu the whole past week so i pretty much missed out on Father's Day as I was in a haze of medication :/

Still, got some Marley earphones so I'm jacked.

Nice gift. I got a warm jacket which was well timed for the cold mornings I experienced this weekend. A start of -5 up to 13.

Are you feeling a bit stronger after the flu?
