Figures on the size of SAs gaming market revealed

Impressive. Better than I expected for South Africa. Did anyone notice that the gaming industry is now almost double that of the movie industry?
 
If the entry level speed and prices of ADSL was better I believe these numbers would rise even faster

True. South Africa is fast approaching affordable (and usable) internet along with other regions on the globe. Once an equilibrium is reached and consoles are more widespread, this number will sky rocket.
 
A large problem we still face is the misunderstanding some gamers have regarding speed vs latency. Many first time online gamers are getting suck in long term wireless internet contracts without doing the research before hand. They end up sitting with unacceptable pings which hinder their participation.

Interesting point. I had a question here that I would like to hear some opinions on How many user on a line ?
