This is really cool, pity they wont port it to the PC:(

It is such a toss up between this and FF8 because 8 on the PC will bring an endless amount of memories but so will the countless hours of playing FF-X on ps2 and I loved the stories of both and they both had really awesome side activities.

Looks impressive! Final Fantasy X/X-2 have a special place in my heart. Can't wait to pick this up in March.

I also can't wait to pick this up as I never got a PS2 so I was forced to skip it, but it looks like I am in for a real treat with the PS3 version. :)

I think the gameplay might be a bit dated for someone that didn't play it in it's prime but I sincerely hope you enjoy it. It's definitely one of Square Enix's finest works.

I'm really glad that Square Enix decided to remaster the FMV's too. I don't believe I've seen that done for other HD collections and the quality of them compared to the in-game graphics is quite jarring. I've not yet picked up Kingdom Hearts HD, does anyone know whether Square gave it's FMV's the same treatment?

Yay a Final Fantasy game that was actually great the latest games are merely good, come on Sqaure enix pull your selves together.Wish I had a vita.

I'm still deciding whether to get it on PS3 or Vita. Either way I can't wait :D!

I'm leaning towards ps3. I know even with the updated eye candy it won't look as good as some of the newer titles, but damn, this game brings back fond memories. I constantly find myself playing older games that look crap compared with todays title, but the gameplay is what draws me back.

Thanks man, I've been keen to play it ever since I saw a music video of Final Fantasy X dubbed to DJ Sammy's Heaven way back in the day. I'll also sheepishly admit I enjoy playing old games as much as I enjoy newer games. How old you say? Well I've been playing FF6 on and off for a while now using an SNES emulator on my phone. Speaking of which FF6 is definitely one of Square Enix' finest works as well, if not their best! ;)

Man that looks awesome, having missed so many FF games (All of them) I wouldn't know where to start.

I haven't played any of the titles before VII, but from what you're saying I guess that needs to change!

Does anybody happen to know if they have greenlit Final Fantasy XII HD?

Nothing's been confirmed. All they've said is if this collection does well then it might pave the way for more HD remasters, and that FFXII would be high on that list.

What do you mean Greenlit? The remaster coming out later this year includes the content from both X and X-2. Only the Vita version will be sold separately. The video below is IGN's hands on impression of the game which further highlights the changes in the game, particularly the rearranged soundtrack and the missing content from the international version.

Oh my bad, I thought he meant X-2. :o But yeah, Yoshinori Kitase pretty much said, "If they [the games] do well, I think this will pave the way for more of the previous games to remade in an HD sort of quality." [SUP]1[/SUP]
