Does anyone own a Fitbit device? I'm considering getting one. My interest was piqued when I noticed that Discovery award you Vitality points for reaching a certain number of steps per day. Being a gamer, I figure that turning fitness into more of a game is bound to motivate me even more, right?

I'm interested in the Flex or Force (which is apparently being recalled due to the Nickel causing allergic reactions on some people), as they're a lot better looking than their other products. But they're quite pricey, so before I fork out the cash I want to know how well they work and whether people actually use them on an ongoing basis or get bored of them after a while?

They tend to count steps and activity even if your arms sway back and forth. But other than that, it's a decent piece of kit.

There are tons of options on the market now though, so take your time in choosing. The majority are all linked up to vitality as well.
