Game trilogies that need the next-gen treatment

I think I'm over HD collections. My backlog is growing and I can't afford to waste time or money on games I've already played anymore. I may be tempted by Uncharted but it still holds up really well even in it's supposedly dated 720p resolution so I see little point in the upgrade.

I want a ME3 remake and I will be extremely happy :D

I don't think we need an Uncharted remake as they look so damn fine already, they will age really well, and CoD? Meh...

Please make ME happen, please Bioware :D!

I wouldn't mind seeing Age of Empires doing something special with their trilogy ... but closer to the gameplay of AOE2.

I went back to play the Last of Us DLC and visually that game is still pretty freaking amazing. I thought after playing Killzone for a bit that I'd go back and see how kak the graphics were, similar to whenever you went from a PS3 game to a PS2 game but Naughty Dog really outdid themselves there :)

I can't wait to see what the new Uncharted will look like on the PS4

Problem with most "HD remakes" is that it's just an upscaled version of the previous game, for example Hitman trilogy and FF X/X-2 on PS3, they are not a remakes at all, they just updated the engine to run on a newer system sharpened up some of the visuals.

My goodness those games don't need a hd remake at all. I mean come on most of them only came out a few years ago and graphics have barely changed since then.

I'd really like to see a Legacy of Kain redux. Those games had gorgeous atmosphere.

Although I don't think I'd like to see them done as platformers again. Maybe turned into RPGs or something equivalent to how the new Tomb Raider turned out.

I know, I'm terrible... but platformers are so dead to me these days.

I dont like these hd upscales (which devs call remakes) but i would like an onimusha trilogy remake (not upscale) a true remake like how did with resident evil1 on the gamecube or mgs twin snakes
