Yip. One issue though...the fools in power already signed the contracts. And since the proceeds are going to a European country we can't just unilaterally scrap it without breaking diplomatic ties & killing trade. The ANC really fcked things up. Not a big issue in itself - we're all kinda used to that by now - the problem is that this time its on a massive scale & irreversible.

Yes we are already screwed, but not as screwed as we will be if we continue with it forever. We signed a 5 year contract with Kapsch, so best would be to pay them out now and to scrap e-tolls.

I think the vid was done incredibly well and actually brings to light what a cock up they made.
I can also now see why they are pushing to go ahead with it even though have gotten so much resistance.

Good video, good thing I'm moving down to Cape Town then when this thing start. Also I do have to question some of the facts of the video. While I am completely against e-tolling, I would have loved to see some links to documents stating these alleged figures as so on. It's one thing to state facts in a video with credible sources, but a whole different ball game once they start fudging numbers just to scare or rally people behind a cause. For that I cannot stand...

Was very interesting and well done. Too bad about the spelling mistake :p

Yeah, brilliant video. And just highlights the short sightedness of SANRAL management and government.

The video is indeed very well done and raises some important questions, but I agree that it would've been so much better to include links/sources in the video or its description, that way it presents a more credible presentation.
