General Congratulations, and chats for past competitions

Seeing as there are no current threads for this, and also because the competition threads where one enters are closed afterwards, I have decided to create this thread, where there can be chats about past competitions, and mainly congratulating the winner.


Here is the first one, and the reason I joined this forum(to enter the The Witcher 2 competition)
Congrats to McRyan for winning an awesome prize, TW2 CE. As a fellow gamer, and at that price tag, I know you are lucky, I would be. So enjoy.

PS: And no, its got nothing to do with karma, I just do this sort of thing, even on other forums... and they dont have this idea of karma.

I like the idea, but the self pity is not very becoming. It's the internet bud, people are going to be asses and sometimes even the most well intentioned post can come across wrong, you, due to the whole aspect of you not being able to pick up on body language and all that.
 
Just FYI the competition threads are closed so that they aren't flooded with congratulations making it easy for the person who won to see that they are the competition winner as announced by tinman.

That would be a viable explanation, though i would find it easier to just click on the notification dialogue box saying I got a new pm. Which I assume they get.

Yes, perhaps I was, though looking back now, I would settle more with frustrated at Prophet for teh 8 points of negative karma. I also had a bad day(personal), and it happens. I've also cleaned up the post to sound much better, regardless of whether or not your post intended me to or not(perhaps your right and I can't read body language in a post/text, tha'ts why I'm spending my time on this forum; I'ma geek xD)

And saying what you wanted to say, or might want to say for any currently running competition, because there is nowhere else to say it, as it would constitute as spam and possibly invalidating your entry(oh no, please, not that ;))

So ranting and raving about ps3/ipad2/gtx570/xbox360 is now the order of the day

Dammit. I wanted to win that comp.
I need Bulletstorm as my pirated copy does not save after I exit the game.
But ohwell.
I will atleast win my Ipad2 then.

As to bringing this thread live again, I think its better to just do it here, people seem to congratulate the winners in the respective threads, when they were left open, so maybe it was an experiment..

Last week's thread was closed immediately, so people, your welcome to congratulate here, discuss current competitions, moan/complain etc, discuss past competitions, as this is where the 'spam' can happen, and not in the entry thread(lest you get blasted by the comp authoritah's hammer)
