Getting random BSOD's even in win7. Clean your Ram!

Had this problem for like 6 months, tried numerous things, couldn't track down the problem because each BSOD had a different error message.

Then I ran into this thread:

Cleaning the bottom part of the Ram sticks actually worked! Haven't had a BSOD in a week, where I got one at least 3 times a day.

That's quite interesting, will pass this along to my friend who has been having problems with BSOD but can't figure out why.

Actually thinking of taking my PC apart and cleaning all the pieces individually. I do routine maintenance cleaning on it every other month but just from the angles that I can reach while everything else is intact.

Sorry to hijack this thread. But the other day my pc was just not the way it should be and after digging I saw in System Properties and it said 4GB Ram (1.99GB Unusable). So I shutdown and reseated the ram chips and voila 4GB again, and man what a difference!!!
